Tonight I went to sleep around 1:30 am. I was busy helping a friend out of a bad situation, so I had no time to sleep earlier. I didn't eat anything out or the ordinary, so that can't account for the strange dreams that I had. Dream: I was at my house just hanging out reading a book, when all of a sudden a knock sounded at the door. I wasn't sure who it was, no one really ever shows up at my house. So I left my spot on the couch and went to go investigate. It was the police. I didn't know why they would be here and so I cautiously let them in. They quickly explained that I was being arrested, for when they never really specified. I told my parents and they didn't seem to care. I was terribly upset and crying about the thought of having to go to jail. Not beacuse it would go on my record or that it was jail, but because I now couldn't to go college and I would be missing out on that. I then woke up and went on to look up what "jail" and "crying" meant in my trust dream dictionary. The entry for 'jail' went as follows: "To dream that you are in jail, suggests that you are feeling restrained or censored in your work environment, relationship or situation in your life. You are feeling confined and suffocated. Alternatively, it represents self-punishment and guilt". The entry for 'crying' read: "To dream that you are crying, signifies a release of negative emotions that is more likely caused by some waking situation rather than the events of the dream itself. Your dream is a way to regain some emotional balance and a way to safely let out your fears and frustrations. In our daily lives, we tend to ignore, deny, or repress our feelings. But in our dream state, our defense mechanisms are no longer on guard and thus allow for the release of such emotions." What I am supposedly feeling guilty about, I haven't a clue. Maybe we will later find out through a series of other dreams.

I fell asleep earlier than the night before, around midnight or so. Once again without eating anything weird or doing anything that I don't normally do at night. The dream that I had this night was very strange. I was on a school field trip and my mom and Aunt Mary were chaperoning for some reason. We were waiting at a bus stop to take a city bus to wherever we were going and there was a guy across the street eating in a chinese restaurant. The entire dream was in black and white, except for the yellow bowl he was eating out of with chopsticks. He stared at us while eating and started eating faster and faster and all of a sudden he got up and started running out of the restaurant and after us. We all started running away, but I tripped over a tree root in the middle of an alley and was afraid he was going to get me! But luckily for me a friend helped me up and we ran away to safety. I looked up 'yellow' in my dictionary, since this was the only colour present in the dream. The definition said: "The color yellow has both positive and negative connotations. If the dream is a pleasant one, then the color yellow is symbolic of intellect, energy, agility, happiness, harmony, and wisdom. On the other hand, if the dream is an unpleasant one, then the color represents cowardice and sickness. You may have a fear or an inability to make a decision or take action. As a result, you are experiencing many setbacks." Sickness makes sense, because I'm always sick.

I went to sleep around 1:00 am tonight. I dreamt that I was at a party with my best friend, Sarah. People were trying to force me to drink diet pepsi, even though they know that I hate soda. We saw this girl Alex laying on a couch, she was sick. We aren't really friends with her in real life, but I gave her a hug and asked her how she was feeling. She had some sort of sinus infection or something. We were like, really close friends in this dream. To dream of a party "suggests that you need to get out more and enjoy yourself. If the party is bad, then it indicates that you are unsure of your social skills". This is true and I don't get out enough at all. I'm usually sitting at home doing homework or applying for scholarships and writing essays. I most definately do not get out enough. To dream of sickness means "To dream that you or others are sick, denotes discordance and trouble in your life. It may also signal a part of yourself that needs to be healed, either physically or mentally. Perhaps you are wallowing in your own self-pity. You need to quit feeling sorry for yourself." I don't really wallow in self-pity, so this isn't too mark on.

Tonight I ended up falling asleep around midnight, which is rather early for me lately. Tonight I dreamt that I was at army-training-boot-camp-extreme! The main method of training and conditioning us was by making stand on these strangely shaped toilet-esque contraptions and doing various leg lifting, jumping jack, like activities. We had to hold onto the pipes above us in the ceiling so that we wouldn't fall in the toilets while doing our exercises. There was someone in my stall with me and we were forced to stand on the same toilet and we were facing each other and we were told to let go of the pipes that we were holding on to and we had to balance on our own. Upon awakening the next morning, I quickly reached for my trust dream dictionary before I failed to remember my dream any longer and looked up the word "toilet". The meaning of toilet was "a release of emotions or getting rid of something in your life that is useless. The dream may also be brought about by your full bladder and is attempting to get you up and go to the bathroom." The having to go to the bathroom bit is very likely, as I tend to drink massive amounts of water. To dream of balance meant the following: "To dream that you loose your balance, suggests that you are having difficulty weighing your options and choices in some situation." I'm not really sure if I ever did lose my balance because I woke up after I let go of the pipe, but it's quite probable. You try standing on a toilet with someone else and let me know how well you can balance on it.

It's the cool new thing to only get four hours of sleep a night. Trust me. So here I was, going to sleep at three thirty am. I honestly don't remember the dream I had, though I do remember dreaming. So I will have to settle for telling you an old dream that I had a long while back when I was younger. A nightmare of sorts. I was terribly afraid of wolves and bears being under my bed, they were my "monsters". In this dream me and my best friend, Sarah were in my room which is upstairs and we knew that there was a wolf tied to my dining room table. we had to sneak downstairs and past that room into my moms room so that we could be safe (or at least feel safe). So we crept down the stairs and lept onto my moms bed, but alas! The wolf caught us and followed us into the room and proceeded to lecture us, growing angrier and larger by the second! There was steam emitting from his head and right before he attacked us, I awoke with a start. So, this was a while ago. When I was five or so and I have had the dream quite a few times, but have failed to research the meaning until recently. "Negatively, the wolf represents hostility and aggression. It may reflect an uncontrollable force or situation in your life." I'm not really sure what kind of hostility a five year old has, but there you have it.

Tonight I went to sleep at two. I had a lot of homework to do, and it took me quite a while to complete. I was walking in a forest with my father, it was day time. There was a line of tress separating us from a dinosaur that seemed to be from the movie "We're Back!". I was holding my fathers hand, skipping at first but running after we realized that the dinosaur was there, even though it was a cartoon. He began to ran faster than I was and he let go of my hand and I fell into a hole, which was really my bed and woke up. Why I dreamt of Dinosaurs from the movie "We're Back!" is unknown to me. Dreaming that you fall into a hole, signifies a pitfall in a situation in your life or that you are stuck in a hole. It can also mean that you have dug yourself into a hole and can not get out of it. I can think of a few situations that this can represent, but nothing that sticks out. Having my father there was also very important as well, and it symbolizes authority and protection. Which makes sense, since there was danger with the dinosaur. It can suggest that I need to be more self-confident and self-reliant.

Didn't fall asleep until around two again this night, my sleeping habbits are atrocious. This night I dreamt that I was laying outside in the summertime, tanning by my pool just chillin out. Then all of a sudden I heard a noise and looked up. Waltzing toward me totally non chalantly was the alligator! I got up from my lawn chair and started running away. I looked back at it, and it was still an alligator and it was still chasing me and so I continued to running. I looked back a second time and it was still the body of an alligator, but the head turned into the head of an anaconda! And it was going even faster now! I picked up my pace as well. I looked back a third time and It was now full anaonda, no alligator and going three times as fast. Just as it was looking hopeless some random guy showed up and chopped its head off with a shovel. I have never seen an alligator or an anaconda in my life, and so I was perplexed as to what this meant. Dreaming of running away from alligators means that you're not willing to face "painful and disturbing aspects of your unconscious". It also means that there is some possibly destructive feeling that you're not accepting. To see an anaconda in a dream shows that you have potential and that you need to be more in tune with your sexuality. It also shows that you are creative.
